Mission

No Icebergs ahead...

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

I collected the one outstanding prescription item from Monday's task en route to Mrs M's and when I got to her door the carers were in, so through her busy hallway we swapped a bag of pills for her list and the trusty trolley and it was off down the hill, past a much busier Kings Cross station and into Tesco for her weekly shop.

Apart from a lack of whole iceberg lettuces (I blame global warming...), everything else that she needed was on the shelves...The estate car trolley was filled to the roof at checkout and it was back up to have another catch up with Mrs M about the various challenges she seems to have with the carers looking after her husband and her plans to delay her much needed operation until the new year. As always with visits to Mrs M, the broad ranging chat felt more important than the pineapple, kitchen roll and pitta bread, albeit she was very grateful again for the latter!
