Kings of neon
Eight of us returned to St Anthony's Catholic Primary School to assist the Antz Kidz Activity Centre with a task we never tyre of!
For the last few weeks we have been priming recycled car tyres with layers of white paint in preparation for them becoming part of a brightly coloured play area.
Our lovely task owner Eva and her team kindly thought we might be keen on splashing on a vibrant colour this week, so added a final coat of white for us in advance.
This just left us with the fun job of choosing which rainbow colour to paint our tyres with next. Sara set to work with a pillar box red, while Emily and Meera chose a sky blue shade. Gail picked canary yellow and Gauri and Naomi opted for a grassy green. This left the fiery orange for myself and Pam.
*It paint over 'til it's over *
As you can see the transformation is coming along nicely, as we managed to each get the first coat of our colour on. We're looking forward to heading back to continue this rather therapeutic painting task, as well as enjoy the odd yummy treat we luckily receive each time we visit too!
