New and old friends race

On a cool evening at the cricket club on Raynesway, Tracey and I got together to race. Organised by the wonderful David Denton, the Derby Midweek Series is a long established and popular event. There were many newcomers to the event today; it's a pleasure to talk to them before the start and after the finish. Lots of old friends were there too. The course is flat and very fast, so if you come, expect a good time! We had a great chat about films and Ireland. David got the timing right: the rain didn't start until we were on our way home.
