3 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Greenwich.

A grey, cool and windy morning - most people would rather having a lying in, but not our energetic GoodGymers! Eight GoodGymers embraced the weather and gave good shots to keep the event going as we were short of volunteers. Marta did the course check, pre-event set up as well as helping Minh who was sorting out the tokens. I did the first timers welcome and I hope that those new comers would come back again as Charlton park is a great location and a friendly bunch. Alex and Rhiannon were the marshals - cheering us along the way, which was a great boost in our morale! Steve kept his fingers busy as the time keeper, as well as doing the voluntary co-ordinator’s role. Tom effortlessly did a speedy run and then resumed to the barcode scanning duty. Alice orchestrated the team as the run director - what a great team!

Without you, park run won’t be happening - if you are able, please join our volunteer rota as you can run as well as volunteering.

We celebrated Marta’s 50th park run milestone with another park runner who also marked the same milestone today.
