Muck Spreaders

Rachel and Sheila continued our quest to get the community allotment ready for winter. It was great to be able to meet Gary in person, who so far has been giving us jobs to do by Email. Our first task was to line and fill two new raised beds with mulch and, you've guessed it Diya, with some beautiful horse manure. These were then covered up, ready for some topsoil once this is available. In the remaining time, Rachel weeded between the slabs in the patio, whilst Sheila cut back one of the hedges and weeded around the raspberries. There will be more allotment fun next week, to finish our task list
