My second mission taking Molly the dog for a walk. No carrying required today, although she was intially reluctant to leave Mrs B and was much much faster on the homeward bound leg, almost dragging me back.

During our walk around Marble Hill Park I found a tennis ball on the walk but after numerous attempts to get Molly to chase the ball, I suspect that she doesn’t have any retriever genes.

I was forced to undertake the task I was dreading. But ‘poop scooping’ didn’t prove to be as grim as I had expected. Rather like changing a babies nappy, it is not something you want to do but when you have to , you overcome your reservations (revulsion?) and get on with it.

I was honoured with a waggy tail ‘thank you’ when I left, so I think we are becoming friends.
