Summer is definitely here if the way shopping lists have been changing over the past couple of weeks are anything to go by - recently I've shopped for pineapple, limes, tonic water and today Mrs J won the prize for most interesting list by asking for a combination of mini Eton mess meringues, strawberries and dairy cream...I turned over the page half expecting to see a polite request for a tennis racket and new balls.

The forecast was warning of thunderstorms, so I was mindful of not taking too long in the the world's politest supermarket and having come dressed more for Wimbledon than Glastonbury I definitely didn't want to be caught out. Thankfully everything that Mrs J wanted this week was reasonably easy to find - again her attention to detail on list compiling is almost award winning and especially so when I found myself on unfamiliar territory in some of the aisles.

Through the door Mrs J seemed pleased I'd got everything on her list this week - she said she was treating herself. Even without any actual live tennis to enjoy, I sensed Mrs J was determined not to let this Wimbledon fortnight go to waste.
