Its not often that we can honestly say that we had the opportunity to run in both blistering heat and humidity in our capital. Ohhhhhhh London, our beautiful city.

Instead of enjoying the sunshine in a beer garden somewhere surrounded by Pimms and beautifully barbequed food we brave souls took it upon ourselves to go and do some good.

Our task for this week was to run fairly quickly from our beautiful home at [Link (http://westminster.impacthub.net/) to Link and go through all of the food that had been delivered.

This sounds simple right? NO, NO and NO again lol… We had 24mins to label, organise and weigh around 600kgs of food. Organise means place alllllll the food into pretty little piles in food and date order and strategically place them for weighing and carriage.

Well…. With around 30secs to spare we completed our task and made Abby and her team very very happy. Westminster Foodbank provides 3 days worth of non perishable food to Westminster residents who are experiencing financial crisis so I must say this is most definitely a worthy cause.

We smiled, waved, said our goodbyes and as if by magic we were gone again.

A small journey into St James Park for sit ups, crunches, intervals and ever so light jog back to base. I am sure you will all be feeling those crunches tomorrow morning, if you are please feel free to send thanks to our twitter account @GGWestmin ;-)

Thankyou all for coming, both your time and positive energy is truly appreciated.

Please continue to do small things with great love.
