On a mild winter evening nine of Goodgym Redbridge's very finest met to do a two for the (Fisher) Price of one task and run.

One of our favourite tasks is heading to the Forest Recycling Project to mix and recycle paint. It's got a decent run, the task is super messy and fun and Nilesh is always so please to see us. This week's task (by the way you can get involved with part two [here]) was a variation on the theme and involved the team to help clean and check toys that have been donated at libraries in the area. You can read more about this great initiative here.

With a team of regulars welcoming Maja on her first ever GG task, and Tim from Newham making his first appearance in (way) way too long ;) the group were soon off up the road on the 4km run to FRP. On arrival the group was split in two with half cleaning and checking the toys, while the others moved tins, painted shelves and recycled old paint. Plenty to do and exactly the sort of jobs we love.

With everyone stuck in and not really want to leave things undone, the group stayed a little longer than usual opting for a speed run back and a few more minutes doing good! Nice work guys.

Fancy getting involved? There's plenty of opportunities this week with a Park Run at Valentines Park. A starter session directly after and runs on Monday 22nd and 29th of this month. Come down and join us. You wont regret it!
