I visited Mrs S, who is a retired school teacher who has been reluctant to socialise since lockdown. We talked a lot about Maidenhead and how it has changed over the years. Hopefully after she has had her booster jab in the autumn she will be confident enough to enrol in some more courses run by the U3A, and I was also trying in encourage her to join the social knitting group at the library.
