Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Nick Moore
After last week's success with finding the specific type of broccoli for Mrs J, I was delighted to see that they were first on the team sheet this week. As always, Mrs J's list was a masterpiece of lyrical composition - items written in aisle order with descriptions, weights and prices all clearly marked - Mrs J sets an exceptionally high benchmark in her specialist subject.
My second visit of the day to the world's politest supermarket was then pretty painless thanks to the very clear treasure map - my only moment of hesitation being whether "mini battenberg" meant one small cake, or 5 finger sized versions in a box - the latter proved to be the correct call.
Mrs J was as grateful as ever from behind her closed door and even hinted that she might be able to leave her flat in the coming weeks for the first time in months subject to the outcome of some upcoming medical tests - I told her I'd have everything crossed for a successful outcome (even if it means eventually missing out on these shopping list masterclasses).
