I was visiting London for fun and work, and decided to visit a junior parkrun whilst I was here. Looking at the parkrun website for ones near where I was staying in need of volunteers, I found Kennington Park.

My role was marshal. Kennington Park are very well organised and have a little map on their lanyard. I was to marshal position 7. I could work out from the map where I needed to be, and as one of the regular volunteers remarked 'just be equidistant between two other marshals'. It should be idiot proof. But I may end up testing it anyway.

Kennington Park junior parkrun were so friendly and lovely. I stayed for coffee afterwards and had such a lovely time. Thank you Kennington Park team for a wonderful middle to my bank holiday weekend.
