Lofty ambitions
3 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Bromley.

Mark, Ian and Hannah met at the Emmanuel URC church in West Wickham with sky-high aims of laying out insulation in one of the lofts!
With no time for woolly thinking, all three set to work maneuvering the nice squishy rolls of eco-friendly recycled insulation up the hatch - along with some boards to lay across the beams and stand on, and thus avoid poking any legs through the newly repaired ceiling. Then it was time to get rolling with the unrolling, while also attempting not to bump heads too much on the rafters or get too confused by the different thicknesses and wideness-es of the strips.
Two admired ancient wasp nests and one very kindly offered tea and vegan cookie break later, we were done. All great news for the church and the environment - and a whole loft of fun as well : )
