Ashley and Tracey joined Rachel for a litter picking session in Derby city centre.

Tracey had already done one good deed earlier that day so a big shout out for helping at two GoodGym tasks in one day.

The group covered 3km during the evening session and collected two bags of rubbish from the streets.

As usual there were lots of empty (and sometimes still pretty full) food packaging items and drinks containers. The group managed to find some mushrooms, a raspberry, plenty of (no longer) hot drinks and a variety of sauce pots with the most popular choice of the people of Derby seeming to be BBQ.

Not for the first time the group were asked if they were doing community service which turned the conversation to what we would each be doing community service for if we'd had a run in with the law.

It was great to see the city looking busy with lots of people enjoying eating out and the sun shone down on the volunteers carrying out their good deed.

Thanks to Ashley and Tracey for helping keep the streets clean.
