Apologies for the stock photo but attempts to take a picture of my ear where a failure 😊. One of my lovely shielded ladies phone was busy when I rang for her list. This always sets my spidey senses twitching. After a couple of goes I got through. She apologised and said one of her health care workers had been talking to her and she couldn’t get him off the phone. I thought this was a bit odd as normally health care workers are very considerate of this kind of thing. Anyway did the shopping as normal and delivered the weekly shop to her. My lady mentioned that her care worker was ringing back and it was a bit awkward as she had not used her credit card over the phone to pay for something spidey senses went into overdrive. I advised her most strongly that she should not buy anything over the phone, to get her son to check it out and that he’s was certainly not a care worker if he was charging for medicine. So shopping is my main work, but look, listen and check sometimes you may help prevent a problem. Ps I’m reporting it to my coordinator.
