So another sunny Friday morning and it was time for my usual shift at the Birmingham Central Foodbank. We were down on numbers in terms of volunteers today which was ok as it a little quieter than usual. We started by going through the food packages that had been packed a few weeks ago to make sure we had no out of date items in them and then it was onto sorting and dating donations we had received from the community. A large donation of Quorn snack pots meant we could make sure that clients received quite a few of these with the usual food package! Another great morning and it was mission accomplished!
