Leek-ing these sunny days
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Crewe.

The leeks are ready to jump out of the allotment and straight into chicken and leek pies being baked by the wonderful Wishing Well staff for vulnerable members of our community who are housebound during lockdown. Armed with forks, rakes and trowels, we tidied, weeded, lifted veg and prepared the beds for the next crop to be planted. A bit of sunshine lifted the heart and made us feel positive about being back at our little allotment very soon!
