Here's what Mr P of SE6 had to say about the mission:

We received a call from Mr P who wanted us to pass on a big thank you to the runners who helped him with his lightbulbs. He is really happy to be able to see now and said it was all down to the lovely GoodGym runners!

Mr P of SE6, mission beneficiary

Emma and I paid a visit to Mr P, who had a number of broken lights in his bathroom. Mr P had redecorated this bathroom all by himself previously but was no longer able to get to his light fittings.

We quickly got to work, thanks to Emma's convenient head torch, but got stopped in our tracks when the brand-new bulbs refused to turn on! A few puzzled looks later, I questioned whether the bulbs we were handed were indeed the new energy-saving LEDs Mr P had bought. It turned out they were a set of other broken bulbs that had been replaced last week, a classic mistake!

Mr P still had the right box of new lights around, so with renewed effort we swapped out all of the lights again and were successful this time around. Light to the bathroom was restored! Mr P was very interested in our running activities, having done his share of runs to Greenwich park in his younger days.
