3 GoodGymers met at Age UK's Birmingham's Dementia Day Care Centre in Sutton Coldfield to help with the clearance of the front garden area.

The centre is soon to be opening up again for dementia sufferers and does some truly fantastic work, so it was great that we could assist in tidying up the front garden area ahead of this -especially as lots of leaves etc. had built up.

It was great to meet Richard and I was glad when he arrived as he was able to get the leaf blower to work, unlike me. Richard done a stellar job blowing all the leaves into piles for me and him to collect into bags. I undertook some sweeping/raking whilst Jonny got the lawn mower going.

I had to dash off slightly before the end, whilst Richard and Jonny finished up. Ultimately, we were able to make a noticeable difference in our time there which was lovely to see.
