I’m struggling for new dog walking puns and was perturbed that the principal character in Edward St Aubyn’s book Mother’s Milk noted “Puns: the symptom of a schizoid personality”. So instead I give you interesting and weird sights on today’s dog walk for Mrs B.

  1. Lardy lockdown squirrels. I am clearly not the only one to have developed a spare tyre (tier?) in Lockdown. Unfortunately unlike the squirrel, I cannot pretend that ‘I’m not fat, I’m fluffy’.

  2. A pair of white plastic chairs stranded in a wood, far from any patio.

  3. Bracket fungi.

  4. An apparently empty and boarded up white cottage in the woods at the back of Orleans House .
