Report written by Manjit Birk
Back on our usual Tuesday night hangout at the allotments, helping task owner Seb to get the plots ready for the therapy garden.
Keane and eager we hit the road Jack and as always were diggin' it... No Diggity...
Manjit and Keira had the carpeted area (literally!) whilst Sut, Jessi, Sandy and Pam turfed over the top end. We used shear force tonight and 'beat it, beat it, cos we all like to beat it beat it'!
One hour in and we had done our good seed for the day!
Great job team... next week we will be burning some of the weeds! Dont miss out on a bonfire!
On Saturday, Sandy achieved her 100th Good Deed as she bravely disposed of a 'rat in me kitchen'!
So in true Slough stylee... here is Sandy's summary (musically orientated as thats her thang!)
I got 99 tools but a wheelbarrow aint one
Fo’shizzle it’s Snoop Dogg Sandy’s double 50 cent!
Once known as our New Kid on the Block but now always Bach for more
From pop to toe she’s a true Goodgymer
Her raports are legendary
She’s always band over backwards to get the task done
We all have a soft Spotify for her and her two finger pose
She’s made it gig on the GG stage
Always available around the rock to help out when needed
She’s truly medley deeply one of our favorite runners
Well done Sandy on achieving your 100th Good Deed on Saturday! 2020 might not be the year of the RAT but somehow that didn’t phase you!
Since we restarted our community missions in June you’ve knocked up a cracking 39 good deeds! As a valued member of our task force we salute you on your massive achievements!
From runner to task force to representing Slough to report writing to photographer to our social media queen! Thank you for being you and bringing the fun element to our group.
