Just A Memory

It was a funny old day for walking to my “coach” JJ. I’m sure I experienced 3 seasons in one day on the way but luckily the rain held off. JJ was surprised but happy to see me..she had forgotten what day it was. Although very sharp when in the present or talking about the old days her short term memory is not JJ’s strong point, she is aware of this and jokes about it. Then asks me if I take sugar…she asks me every week sometimes 3 or four times. Luckily JJ has good family support making sure she eats regularly and a lovely neighbour popped in with some home made stew and a piece of cake for her. It set us off on a little chat about kind acts we have known people carry out and the positive thought that most people in the world are good to each other.
