Jingle Bells and Joyful Yells: GoodGym's Festive Mission at Vauxhall

GoodGym's mission at Vauxhall Gardens Community Centre was a festive feat of generosity and teamwork. Under the spirited leadership of Mervyn, volunteers Sean and Mikhail transformed into Santa's helpers for the day, bringing joy and much-needed assistance to the community. With Christmas carols likely humming in the background, they meticulously sorted an array of bread into bags, ensuring each one was ready for those in need. Their efforts didn't stop there; they artfully arranged sausage rolls into welcoming platters and expertly sliced gammon into servable chunks, all while embracing the spirit of giving.

The day was made even more special with the arrival of the Felix Project delivery, a sleigh of sorts, laden with goodies and essentials for the festive season. Sean and Mikhail, alongside their fellow volunteers, jumped into action, unloading and organizing the delivery with cheer and efficiency. As they worked, the community centre transformed into a winter wonderland of food and fellowship.
