Goodgym is not about records and competition, but a little friendly rivalry cant hurt, can it? As such, what it the current standings in the plogging records? I recon, 5 binbags in 35 mins might be in with a shout of a top ten spot... Alex only came to help dispose of the bags.

Although in the proper GG spirit of honesty & fairness, I do have to admit that two of those binbags were at least half full and just waiting to be dragged from the bushes... 0:-)

Besides all that, today was about exploring options for the future. Yes there are definitely options to improve the bit of woodland at hand, but before we'd start on that, it very clearly needs a proper clearing out session.. or two I am not talking about the xmas trees and other branches & bits dumped in there, that is all natural material that nature will take care of. No, it is more about the man-made rubbish that seems to be appearing out of nowhere, time and again... glass bottles of Budweiser beer seem to top the rankings today!

So the next target is to recruit a set of rugby players from the local team and blast through the area - details to follow!
