Irregularly scheduled programming

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Windsor and Maidenhead.

I visited Ms J two days later than planned as I was still recovering from my recent flu on the weekend. So, not only was this an irregular visit, it also brought about an irregular conversation - football.

Now, that might be one of my favourite topics, but Ms J and I have never talked football before. She wanted to know how my experience at the recent Lionesses match at Wembley had gone and was amazed to hear that over 83K people had attended. The biggest surprise for me was that she'd watched some of the match towards the end! Of course, this led to a conversation about going for women's matches as opposed to men's and how the crowds are completely different.

She never fails to surprise me with her interest in learning about new things even when she can't go out herself.
