I cycled, I saw, I conker-ed!

Today I visited Mrs D in Windsor. She's been telling me about her fear of spiders and how she keeps conkers in her house to deter them. She's been wondering how she could get a fresh batch of them this year, as she thought they may not keep over many years. I happened to spot a large horse chestnut tree on my way, so I stopped and picked some for her. She was delighted with the crop, she recons she'll be safe from spiders for another year. 🀞 She told me about her mum, who was also scared of spiders, and she'd trap them under a cup or a glass, and waituntil her father would come home to deal with them. πŸ˜±πŸ•ΈοΈπŸ•·οΈ

I love collecting conkers. How lovely to be able to do it with a purpose. Well done Georgeta x
