How to care for your carer

It's been two weeks since I last visited Mrs D in Windsor and she had lots to tell me, much has happened since then. One incident in particular, we found funny in a strange kind of a way. When one of her carers showed up, she was still in the hallway, when she called Mrs D telling her she couldn't move! Apparently it had to do with a recent long haul plane trip she'd been on, meaning she'd been still for a long period of time. Eventually, with Mrs D's walking stick, the carer made her way to a chair. Then they called the ambulance, but the waiting time was around 9 hours. Eventually, after a few hours, the carer was able to get up and slowly walk again. In the meantime, Mrs D made sure that she had a snack and a cup of tea, courtesy of the carer's supervisor, who also came to the rescue. Never a dull moment in Mrs D's life!...
