How many Goodgymers does it take to change a lightbulb?
1 GoodGymer made their way 14.6km to help an isolated older person in Coventry.

One apparently! (With a little help from Ms H.)
With the weather a bit cooler, and some drizzle to boot, Katherine jumped on her bike and headed over to help Ms H with changing her bathroom light bulb.
Sounds like an easy task right?! But this light fitting had a glass dome cover that needed to be supported whilst the screws holding it in place were removed, all done at the same time as balancing on a ladder to be able to reach. Thankfully Ms H was able to help by taking the screws when they were removed.
There was mild panic as we noticed the light bulb was a screw fitting but we only had bayonets, but Ms H had a rummage in her kitchen cupboard and found two more screw bulbs - phew! Katherine fitted one of them and decided to check the light before putting the fiddly light cover back in place and - uh oh - the light wasn't working! Was it the light fitting itself that needed an electrician? Staying calm, Ms H suggested trying the other light bulb as it might be the new bulb was already broken and second time around - ta da! The light was working :-)
Ms H passed the light cover and screws back up to Katherine to put the light back in place and the job was done in super efficient timing. So much so that Katherine had time to put up two curtain pelmets that Ms H had recently washed but was unable to put back up herself - perfect!
With the task done, Katherine said her goodbyes and enjoyed her cycle back home in (thankfully) less drizzle than the way there.
