I headed over to what is becoming a semi-regular Thursday lunch destination of Qrystal Pharmacy to pick up Ms J's prescription. There were a couple of additional non-medicinal items today too so a bigger haul than usual but very helpful to her given she is stuck indoors.

At the door while she was double checking it was all there the sound of horse racing wafted through and she smiled and remarked that her favourite horse had just won a race, meaning my visit was unfortunately timed to make her miss that. Fortunately she reassured me that she'd absolutely rather be chatting than watching more TV. We discussed horse racing a little more (she's quite the expert it seems) before I had to head back to work.
