An earlier than normal litter pick along the Ravensbourne in Deptford's Brookmill Park. It had rained steadily all of Tuesday and that led to much higher river levels than have been seen for months, this had washed down lots of litter some of it deposited as the river levels receded. A lot of muddy rubbish was collected on the first bend after the river escapes its concrete channel through Lewisham, two of the bags for life full were collected at that point. The rest of banks saw relatively little litter though.
