Here come the Hot Steppers

On the HOT HOT HOT Hottest Monday of the year so far, a fabulous foursome braved the heat to dish out some GG Brent Community plugging and an impressive blast of high intensity fitness too!

With many of the regular team on their jollys, 4 Red Shirted ninjas took to the streets of Willesden to promote the crew with the Bi-Monthly Leaflet Drop and rally up some much needed community spirit.

Heading out into the glorious evening sun, the run to Queens Park was a sweaty one to say the least, but gallops and giggles saw us through the 2mile dash to our destination. Upon arrival we discovered this was apparently where ALLLLL the runners in Brent hang out, so after some serious schmoozing and leaflet pushing, the team set to work on the next challenge - The Elle Energy HIIT session.

High Intensity Interval Training is a great way to not only condition a runners body, but also an excellent way of demonstrating some serious Girl Power on the outdoor gym apparatus among a sea of fitness-freak men folk. OH YEEHHHHHHH

Burpees, Squats, Lunge jumps and assisted pull ups were just the ticket to get our hearts pumping and pulses racing!! Four ladies thrashing out four rounds for fourteen minutes of fun!! For GoodGym Sake.... If that's not Impressive I don;t know what is?!

After the challenge it was full steam ahead and a final dash around the park before the cool down jog back to base camp, our beloved Queensbury Pub... HURRAHS! Greeted back by the beer swilling locals and never ones to let the side down we joined them in a toast, with copious amount of ........ H2O!! I know.... we are so wild!!!

So after a well deserved stretch and sit, we bid farewell to GG Brent for another week, raising a glass to a beautiful evening shared with babes and the (Ellie) wood!
