Helping Mrs C clear her path

Daryl and I met up about 2km from Mrs C's house and ran over together to meet her. As we arrived Mrs C was happy to see us and let us know what she wanted doing. Daryl set off clearing path leading to the front door, chopping it back like an explorer trying to get through the jungle! We managed to clear the bushes back easily but we met our match with all the ivy that had taken over the flower beds! So much of it and so difficult to pull out, but we kept at it and made a lot of progress. Not enough after being there for almost 2 hours we still have to go back again to finish the job! Hopefully we can get some extra runners/hands along to help out next time! Mrs C was so grateful that she wanted to give us something to buy ourselves a treat but Daryl and I graciously declined and ran back to our meeting point where we then headed our separate ways! Was really nice to help someone who needed it. Looking forward to going back and finishing the job!
