It was only as I got closer to Ms B's address did I realise I'd visited her last summer to fix her squeaking hinges (on her front door before you ask...), so it was a bit of a doorstep reunion when she opened the (still non-squeaking) door to me and we bid each other good Friday morning.

This time she was concerned about the loose door handle to her bedroom door falling off and potentially leaving her trapped inside, with all the consequences that could entail.

Fortunately I'd come across this sort of handle before, so was a quick undo of the decorative outer rings to get to the bolts that held the handles in place, and a tighten up as best I could of all the bolts on both sides with a screwdriver to give Ms B the reassurance she needed that she could now sleep soundly at night, without fear of being trapped.
