Forget Me Not

Visited my “coach” JJ, her Son had just left and she thought I was him returning because he had forgotten something, she was delighted that it was someone else she could chat to.

JJ remarked on my running outfit and I explained I had decided to walk to her and run back, “ yes, well, it’s down hill on the way back” was her quick reply, JJ is quite sharp on occasions and she had rumbled my cunning plan straight away.

A bit later JJ was telling me about the nice girl who visits on a Tuesday (that’s me) I didn’t correct her as she gets upset when she realises her memory is a bit off but I wondered who she thought I was, then she said “I’ll make you another cup of tea in a minute Mum!
