A fair dusting of snow overnight led to some changes of original plans, but GG Sheffield swimmers are hardcore and weren't going to be put off! No one keen on driving in the snow, we donned all our layers and boots, trekked to the station caught the train out to Hathersage.

After a tasty and warming brekkie at the pool cafe, we headed into the 23°C water and kept moving to stay warm. Sadly, the live band must not have made it, but Xmas tunes were enjoyed nonetheless. After getting dressed as quickly as possible, we headed back into the warm of a nearby pub before travelling back home. Good effort team GGSheff!
