Today I went to visit Mrs. D. She was well and was trying to keep cool in the heat of the day. She very often tells me of her beloved pussycat Felix, who she has lost not so long ago. She got him when he was a tiny kitten from her neighbor. As she was wondering what to name him, the well known cat food advert just happened to be on TV, so Felix seemed a very appropriate name. Felix was an indoors cat, she tried to take him out for a walk on a leash without much success, he was too frightened by the unknown and would dash back into the house, leash trailing behind and all! But he was a good listener, much better than her son! Felix used to listen to her, all eyes and ears, while her son never does, as she often likes to remind him...😃 Felix was a great companion to Mrs D and his story deserved to be told.
