It was a no brainer, as I use my car so little I am conserving the bit of petrol I have rather than join the ridiculous queues, I didn’t want to arrive at my “coach” rain soaked so decided to take the tube. All went well at first, there was a train in and I had an empty compartment. A couple of stops in a guy got on and caught me looking at his mask being worn under his chin 🙄 he then started muttering under his breath and pointing aggressively at me. Fortunately he got off at the next station without incident but it reminded me why I don’t like traveling on public transport…the “public” spoil it. Anyhoo the plan worked and I arrived at JJs dry 😊 as usual the conversation, laughter and tea flowed, the hour soon passed and I was on my way again. I don’t mind if I arrive home rain soaked so I walked the 6km home. As it happened it didn’t rain and I even had a little stop by the pond to watch the geese for a minute or two.
