Winter Warriors Alice & Rebecca set out before sunrise to help Glass Door Homeless Charity switch their emergency winter shelter from night to day.

Glass Door is a great charity that partners with 34 churches to provide warmth and shelter for those effected by homelessness across the coldest month of the year.

At St Cuthbert's Centre, Overnight Project Workers Paul and Linda had been catering for guests all night, and were finishing serving up breakfast when the GoodGymmers arrived. To change over to the day layout, heavy tables need to be moved around, so Alice & Rebecca brought their strong arms.

With their help, a difficult task was transformed into an easy one that took only ten minutes to complete. Allowing the Centre plenty of time to be ready for their 7am session and our GoodGymmers to get some breakfast!

The shelter is open till April and will appreciate further help!
