A benefit of doing missions is in the unexpected discovery of an oasis amongst the concrete, and this was definitely the case when I visited Miss V this afternoon, whose building, whilst being overlooked by the city's tall towers of glass, looked out onto a scenic square and calming garden.

Miss V had discovered the replacement lightbulb she'd bought in preparation for today's mission didn't work - so instead the task involved moving some cushions, a chair and a heater from her flat to the communal bin store in the basement. All easily done in a couple of trips. The bulb change will just have to happen another day, along with any other future requests for help as Miss V was delighted to discover we do shopping too!
