Mission

Curtain Down

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

"You're so tiny!" Ms J greeted me at her front door when she met me this afternoon. "I should be fine as long as you have got a step ladder for me to climb up." I assured Ms J that I would be able to accomplish the task - taking the net curtain down in her sitting room.

Ms J is keen to wash the net curtain but it is too difficult for her to climb up and take the curtain down by herself. By working as a team, Ms J held the step ladder for me and I climbed up a long step ladder to reach the high ceiling and took the net curtain down. "This is women's power!' Ms J acclaimed when the curtain was finally taken down.

I'm pleased that Ms J can now wash the net curtain to refresh her sitting room.
