It’s a brilliant thing to spend your Sunday afternoon making a difference and that’s definitely what we did today!

It was Katy’s second visit to Mr S today and a first for Charlotte and me. The weather caused a change of plan as heavy rain and therefore dark skies meant access to Mr S’s garden and garage was limited. Instead we were given the task of cleaning out Mr S’s kitchen cupboards, and helping him to set up his laptop so he could purchase some essentials on Amazon.

As an isolated older person, Mr S really appreciated the company and a cup of tea at the end of the mission just as much as the practical side and we floated off really feeling like we’d brightened his day just as much as his cupboards!

Mission accomplished.
