For the final fixture of the 18/19 Gwent League cross country, we pulled together our biggest GoodGym team yet!

Our women's team was slightly depleted due to injury and illness, but the awesome twosome of Sarah and Charlie did GoodGym proud in the Senior Women's race (extra kudos to Sarah for running on no sleep!).

Richard and Andrew headed to Blaise after a morning of cheering the GreenMan Ultra runners in Keynsham, where they were joined by Nathan and Anthony from Cardiff GoodGym, and the team was rounded off by Gary who stopped off at Blaise on his epic cycle around the GreenMan route for a little run :-) Fantastic performances from all the guys on the three-lap circuit.

As we watched the Green Man Ultra runners on their route through Blaise, I think we were all in agreement that we were glad we only had a few km of cross country race to do! That's not to say it was an easy race, everyone ran hard and did a fantastic job representing our GoodGym team. We celebrated the end of the cross country season with lots of yummy flapjacks and cake (of course!).

So altogether we managed to get a team to three of the five fixtures this season - next year we are aiming for five out of five! And bigger teams of course! Looking forward to October :-)
