A Monday evening volunteer session at Food redistributor City Harvest.

After cycling to Acton my first task of the evening was emptying , defrosting and cleaning two of the freezers. On a hot summer’s night this was not a duff assignment but a really cool job.

With many others helpIng to sort and crate the evenings’s deliveries , I found alternate employment tackling the food and bread waste.
