This was a first visit to Mrs J, who lost her husband a year ago and is still struggling to comes to terms with it. She has become very withdrawn, and as she has no family, she gets very lonely. She was very nervous about meeting someone new, but so was I, so we had something in common already! She used to work for BA, and has travelled on Concorde - she has several pictures of this magnificent aircraft on her wall. She was very keen for me to visit again, so I look forward to hearing about her travels with her husband next time.
