Philippa, Olivia and I met at lunch to help shift some furniture around so Mrs S can be discharged from hospital.

There were a couple of easy bits: a chest of drawers, chair and commode. There was also a beast of a wardrobe. We tried to get out of it, but Mrs S's daughter was desperate for us to move it, even if it meant taking it to bits. In hindsight, taking it apart would have been easier had we done so before we got it half way across the stairs and the bannisters, but you live and learn.

A tough job, but a job well done at the end of the day. Hopefully Mrs S can get home soon.

Well done everyone! Sounds like a tough mission but definitely worthwhile to get Mrs S home from hospital.
