On a warm morning Olivia and Chris popped around to Ms O.'s house to meet her daughter and do a bit of furniture rearranging so that Ms O. could return home from hospital.

The plan was to move her bed downstairs to the living room and a table and chairs in the opposite direction to make space. After moving the mattress downstairs and using it make sure that there was enough space in the living room for the bed we set about moving the rest of the bed downstairs. This was despite an unruly headboard refusing to fit through the hallway. Thankfully Chief Screwdriver Officer Olivia made swift work of getting the headboard on side so we could get the bed downstairs in two pieces.

After putting the bed back together in it's new location it was simply a matter of moving the table and chairs upstairs, which was still pretty hot work but to our relief they put up less of a fight than the bed.

Hopefully Ms O. can now return from hospital and enjoy being back at home!
