Rachel and I went to a lovely house in Millhouses to move a large reading chair into an upstairs room ('the library ') after a replacement had arrived for it in the living room.

It was straightforward enough to lift the chair up the stairs, past the stair lift (the use of which the gentleman demonstrated to us!) and into the upstairs room.

In the meantime we had some lovely chats with the man who was very friendly and seemed appreciative of our help.
