So it was back to Birmingham Central Foodbank for myself, John, Ben & Tousif for what was a very busy night for us all! We were joined by other members of the Foodbank team which was quite a relief as there had been some very generous donations which all needed to be weighed and then sorted this evening. Tousif took the lead of capturing and adding together the weights of each donation while John and Ben got to work with other volunteers with sorting donations ready for dating. I was on cardboard duty which involved flattening and taking the packaging out for recycling. The main theme for the donations seemed to have been soup and the most amount of Fray Bentos Chicken Pies I had ever seen! With so much to do the shift was over and it was time for us all to depart for home.
