Tonight we headed to new territory and did a litter pick on the canal for the first time since we started GoodGym Solihull, seven months ago!

It proved a great idea as we managed to fill a whole bag of rubbish between the three of us. Imagine what we could do with more people and bags!

We then headed to Lode Lane playground to do a fitness session. When we got there we saw that the park was also in need of a litter pick - never to miss an opportunity to do more good deeds, we quickly set to work!

After this bonus task was complete we started our HIIT fitness session with various intervals including pull ups on the monkey bars, 30 second high knees, 10 second sprints, 30 second lunges and 30 second push ups on the park bench. As Chris and Rachel’s reward they got to have a quick go down the slides whilst we had the playground to ourselves!

We then made our way back to base in the dark (autumn is fully here now!) for a quick stretch.

See you all next week.
