Four goodgymers joined Beth from the Canal and River Trust to work on our adopted area of the canal near Barker Bridge. Once again, we worked on pulling weeds out of the cracks in the paving. This time around, Ben got into the thick of the overgrown brambles and tamed them with big tools and unique skills. Ryan got right into the cracks and swept away the dirt. Sofeen hacked away at the stubborn stuff and by the time the afternoon sun cast a glow over everything, the area looked fantastic. We’ll be back to Litterpick before the month is out and into next month we’ll be here again to get some new plants growing in the canalside beds.
